If you're a member of one of those "big banks", I'm certain that you're not thrilled with how they treat you. Simple has set out to change the way we bank, and so far I'm very impressed.
Simple is an online bank that aims to help you manage your money smarter, easier, and with support that actually cares. Their website is truly gorgeous, and works exactly the way you'd think a banking site should. It's clean, fresh, and responsive. It puts everything you need right at your fingertips, including neat features like "Goals" which will automatically set aside a certain amount of money per day to meet a goal based on the date and amount you set.
Their iOS and Android apps are also top notch, and make the experience that much more enjoyable. You can even set it to send you a push notification every time your card is swiped, so you can easily stay on top of your purchases and prevent fraud.
Simple is a company that cares. I've dealt with their support team on a couple of occasions and have received thoughtful responses almost immediately. They're a bank run by real humans that believe customer service is truly important. It shows.
No overdraft fees, no bounced check fees, no account maintenance or minimum balance fees, 55,000 fee-free ATMs, photo check deposit, and tons of budgeting tools. It's just banking that makes sense.
