It's easy to forget the importance of a good pen. Sitting in front of me right now, I have 5 different devices that I could take notes on, but writing with a pen, in a notebook, just feels right.
The Retro 1951 Hex-o-matic is one of my favorite ballpoint pens. It's not incredibly heavy, but it has enough weight to feel substantial in your hand, and the hex shape falls nicely between your fingers. This pen is a tool, and definitely looks the part as well. Pair this with a Field Notes book and you have the perfect Hipster PDA.
It comes in black or silver, and is available in a mechanical pencil version as well (which I also own, and love).
