Just because summer is over doesn't mean that we must say farewell to the cold, refreshing drinks that we enjoyed during the hot months. Cold brew coffee had quite a renaissance this year, with boutique coffee shops all over the country adding it to their menus. Making it at home is pretty simple though, and the Bruer makes it even easier.
Cold brew coffee is praised for it's complete lack of acidity which gives it a clean flavor profile that lends itself well to being poured over ice. The brew process takes some time, between 3 and 12 hours depending on your drip speed, but it's worth the wait. The flavor is special.
With the Bruer, this is very straight forward. You put your grounds into the bottom of the "tower", top it with a paper filter and the plug, add ice and water, and let it sit. This is not a process for those wanting a cup of coffee immediately, but plan ahead and you'll be glad you did.
There are a lot of different options for cold brewing coffee, but the Bruer is a clever solution and is definitely one of the nicest looking. A must-have for any coffee enthusiast.
