Espresso is nutty, and I'll admit that I'm not sure I completely understand it. Making good espresso is so much more difficult than any other kind of coffee, and it almost seems like a kind of black art. It's voodoo, I swear.
But then I came across this thing, the Little Guy. It's a simple stove-top espresso maker that works by way of simple physics. Heating up the water provides the pressure necessary to brew your espresso shot and even provide steam through the steam wand on the side. This is a full-fledged espresso machine, but without all the complicated pumps, motors, heating coils, or other business that's going to need repair of maintenance down the line.
It's beautifully made of polished stainless steel, and it comes with everything you need to start making your own espresso-based drinks. It's awfully pretty, and because it's so small, it's great for traveling as well. This may be the perfect espresso solution for someone not wanting to shell out the cash and counter space for a heavy-duty barista style espresso maker. Simplicity is key.
