I've been wanting to try a grocery delivery service for a long time. My work schedule is hectic, and finding time to go to the store is rough. Not to mention the crowds, the parking lots, the lines... it's all bad.
Instacart is the solution. Create an account online or via their beautiful iOS app, and you'll get your choice of stores. In my area, it's Ralph's, Costco, Super King, or Whole Foods. Once you choose the store, you shop. When you're done filling your cart, pick a delivery time, and submit. After that, an Instacart shopper goes to the store, picks the items, and can even call or text you if they are out of any of the items you're looking for.
The surprising part is how inexpensive it is. If your order is over $35, it'll get delivered to your door for only $3.99. There's also a membership where you pay an upfront fee but get free deliveries throughout the year.
The website is great, the app is great, and my first experience was perfect. This is how I'm doing my shopping from now on.
