I've talked about the Twelve South BookArc before, and had nothing but good things to say about its undeniable beauty and second-to-none build quality. Twelve South has now released a BookArc for Apple's flagship Mac, the Mac Pro, and it's stunning.
It's the same sturdy construction that we've grown to love from the original BookArc, but now in polished chrome, which beautifully reflects the very reflective surface of the Mac Pro. While I'm not convinced the best use for this is on top of your desk (although it does make it look like a jet engine)--I think this is truly useful when you're trying to place the Mac Pro somewhere that is vertically challenged, like in a rack or under a desk. The rubberized bumpers ensure you won't scratch the finish of your Mac Pro, and the soft rubber feet mean it won't move around or transfer vibrations to your desk.
Like all Twelve South products, this is gorgeous, well-made, and best in class. These guys only make accessories for Apple products, and their passion for the company's design language is very clear.
